Michael Saylor's Strategy has bought more than 225,000 BTC since the start of 2025, securing its position as the world's biggest bitcoin treasury company.
The firm just bought 1,229 BTC — an amount worth approximately $108.8 million at current prices — to bring its 2025 total to 225,027 BTC, or $19.7 billion at today's prices.
All told, Strategy holds 672,497 BTC, or about $58.9 billion, as part of its bitcoin treasury strategy. In a tweet this morning, Saylor said that his firm spent about $50.44 billion, or around $74,997 per coin.
As might be expected, Strategy's bullish buy stance is reflected in recent statements from its executive team.
"The fundamentals of the market this year for Bitcoin couldn't be better," CEO Phong Le said in a recent interview.
