Binance has expanded its stock trading offerings by adding spot trading support for Strategy Inc.’s STRC perpetual preferred stock. The move gives its 300 million users convenient access to the instrument on the same platform where they trade cryptocurrencies and other assets. This listing comes as Binance’s recently launched stock trading service continues to show rapid adoption, surpassing $1 billion in assets under management within just 30 days of launch and generating substantial trading volume.

The addition of STRC aligns with Binance’s efforts to bridge cryptocurrency and traditional markets. Users can now park cash in the preferred stock for yield while actively trading other holdings, potentially reducing the need to move funds between separate platforms. Binance’s integration of thousands of U.S. stocks and ETFs has already drawn significant interest, and STRC represents another step in building a comprehensive trading environment.

STRC is Strategy’s perpetual preferred stock, which pays a 12 percent annual dividend distributed semi-monthly in cash. The shares, designed to trade near a $100 par value, recently recovered to around $88–$89 after dipping lower, resulting in an effective yield around 13 percent. Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, sold 3,588 BTC for about $216 million in recent weeks, boosting its USD cash reserves to $2.55 billion. The company has continued to make dividend payments on STRC, supported by these reserves.

For Binance, the listing broadens its product range and caters to users seeking income-generating options within the crypto ecosystem. It allows seamless management of diversified portfolios, combining yield from STRC with exposure to volatile assets like Bitcoin or other equities. While the preferred stock carries standard risks such as dividend variability and market sensitivity, its availability on Binance provides easier access for a large global audience already familiar with the exchange’s interface and tools.

This development underscores Binance’s momentum in stock trading and its role in connecting different asset classes for retail and institutional participants alike. As the platform grows its offerings, users gain more flexibility in how they allocate and manage capital across crypto and traditional investments.
