BTC NAV

BTC NAV stands for Bitcoin Net Asset Value. It represents the dollar value of all bitcoin owned and held by a company at a specific point in time.

The calculation uses the current market price of bitcoin to value the company’s total BTC holdings. This metric shows how much of a company’s balance sheet is directly exposed to the price movements of bitcoin.

Formula: BTC NAV = BTC in Treasury × Current BTC Price

If a company owns 1,000 BTC, and the bitcoin price is $65,000: BTC NAV = 1,000 × $65,000 = $65,000,000

This tells you the company’s bitcoin holdings are worth $65M at today’s market rates.
